Today was our first day in the new office. So while I am sad that I am no longer in Chinatown, two blocks from Uwajimaya, I like our temporary Pioneer Square location. Today after work I was bumming around at home, repeatedly telling myself that today was the day I would get all the things done that I always mean to get done, but don’t. I was still feeling sick and thought it best not to go to Capoeira practice tonight, determined to make use of my first afternoon back.
So home I was with all intentions to clean this and that, e-mail so and so, organize what’s it’s and what not’s, etc. But after 90 minutes or so, I soon found myself on a bus to Broadway to catch up with my homie Dean over some tea. (Beginning to think such productivity-ridden days are things of fantasy anyway.) It was a nice night, it had been a long while since we last hung out. Oh talk of life and love. Dreadful stuff, really. Came home in the drizzly weather to find out Ryan was nearby so that was a cool surprise. 🙂 Anyway, it’s time for bed, here’s to another Nyquil’ed night of sleep. :T
Oh and yeah, after taking the New York subways, I <3 my King County Metro. *insert saucy comment from Greg here*
