I love Thanksgiving at my aunt’s house. It’s all about the long table that seats thirty and eating food all day long. It’s the little traditions that make me look forward to this holiday each year, like hor d’oeuvres at noon; going around the table saying what we’re thankful for; the prayer before eating; playing bingo; my little cousin Sam walking around with her clipboard taking post-meal coffee orders; gathering the aunts, uncles, and cousins for the midday walk around the neighborhood. Guess the entry would not be complete without my “I’m thankful for” sentiments but I could go on forever. In short: It’s been a pretty amazing year. Am constantly reminded how truly blessed I am to have my family and friends. It’s also weird to think that a year ago from today I didn’t really know Ryan. He was “that guy in my INFO class whose blog I found on Xanga”. Funny what can transpire in less than a year, no?

Yeah, you shoulda known him as “that HOT info guy who I wanted to have babies with”… but I guess Xanga buddy will have to do. However, that woulda been cool.
